The author keeps all rights of authorship, citation and publication in other channels when uploading work to RiuNet. Please note that some publishers may require the thesis to be in some way novel in order to accept publication. In this case, the subsequent publication must bring originality to the original thesis.
In any case, Royal Decree 99/2011, of 28 January, which regulates official doctoral teaching, states that all approved theses must be deposited in a repository and be open access, save for this being impossible due to legal impediment or because the intention is to protect them with a patent.
