From January 2017 onwards, all H2020 projects must include a PGD (Data Management Plan) as part of the project delivery. Article 29.3 of the Model Grant Agreements sets out the obligations of project participants and beneficiaries in terms of data management and their integration in the research process.
Data from H2020-funded research should be deposited in open access (preferably in a repository that ensures preservation), or as supplementary material on the journal's website where the results are published, or in specific data journals.
Mining must also be authorized through a licence for use, such as Creative Commons CC-BY or CC-0.
