Those athletes who during the current academic year or the immediately previous academic year accredit to be in any of the following situations:

• University athletes recognised as elite athletes of the Universitat Politècnica de València (according to resolution of accommodation, sports excellence and elite athletes grants, offered each academic year).
• Elite athletes recognised by the Official Journal of the Valencian Community (DOCV).
• Athletes who currently are, or were the previous year, high level athletes, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 971/2007 of 13 July.
