Books can be renewed every 15 days until 4 months. Films and journals can be renewed every 7 days for up to 2 months.
You can renew the loan period as long as:
- Items have not been requested by another user
- You don't have overdue items
- You are not blocked
Renewals are made via PoliBuscador > My Library > Loans.
Go to "Active loans” and click on "Renew". If this link is not displayed, there is a reason that prevents you from renewing.
Clicking on the icon will show the maximum renewal date.
This video shows how to renew in PoliBuscador in less than a minute. Loans are automatically renewed up to a maximum of 4 months (2 months for films and magazines), as long as they have not been reserved by someone else and you are not blocked or have documents that are overdue.
If your items cannot be renewed, you will receive an email.
